Description

2009-P WDDR-002 is a doubled die reverse on the 2009 satin finish John Tyler Presidential dollar, cataloged by the Wexler team. The Statue of Liberty's right arm is doubled just above the robe's sleeve. On the obverse, light SW-to-NE scratches lie in the field left of the upper head, a short SW-to-NE scratch is in the field right of the chin, and a short NW-to-SE scratch is in the field right of the nose. On the reverse, a crack runs across the tops of the lower three fingers of the left hand. Marilyn Keeney submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
