Presidential Dollars used a common reverse design across all issues, meaning a single reverse die could theoretically be paired with different obverse dies bearing different presidential portraits within the same year's production. The die markers remain consistent: a small die gouge at the bottom right of the N in JOHN on the obverse and a short die gouge extending from the bottom left of the U in UNITED on the reverse.
