Documented by VarietyVista with die marker codes UVC-1842 and DMR-053, this 2007 Wyoming State Quarter DDR-050 presents a light spread visible between the first and second tuft of the horse’s mane on the reverse — a localized doubling feature within the bucking bronco design element that represents Wyoming’s cowboy heritage. Three die stages chart the working die’s progression: Stage A is early die state (EDS, unconfirmed); Stage B reaches mid-die state with a die chip under the right crossbar of the T in EQUALITY, a die crack on the front of the bust on the obverse, and die chips in the designer’s initials; Stage C is late die state (LDS, unconfirmed). The Stage B die crack on the bust front and the chip under EQUALITY’s T document concurrent deterioration across both obverse and reverse dies, indicating the die pair was experiencing progressive mechanical breakdown during mid-life production. The 2007 Wyoming State Quarter is part of the 50 State Quarters Program (1999–2008). The Wyoming reverse, designed by Norman E.
