2007 (P) Wyoming State Quarter - Doubled Die Reverse DDR-046

Description

Carrying VarietyVista designations UVC-1838 / DMR-049, the 2007 DDR-046 is a Wyoming State Quarter doubled die reverse with medium spread on the first tuft of the horse's mane under the saddle horn. The consecutive UVC numbers (1837 and 1838) and DMR numbers (048 and 049) confirm that these are distinct dies, each with its own unique surface characteristics such as die scratches, polish lines, and micro-flow marks that serve as secondary attribution diagnostics. Confirmed at Early Die State (Stage A), DDR-046 is differentiated from DDR-045 through these incidental die markers rather than through differences in the doubling itself. The Wyoming quarter's bucking bronco design by Norman E. Nemeth renders the horse's mane in fine strands that are sensitive to any hub displacement, and the first tuft beneath the saddle horn occupies a visually prominent position on the reverse that collectors can locate readily.
