Description

2007-P WY DDR-039 is a doubled die reverse on the 2007-P Wyoming state quarter, cataloged by VarietyVista. The light spread is on the mane under the saddle horn. VarietyVista also gives it as 39-R-VIII, with chart numbers UVC-1788 and DMR-042. At Stage A the reverse is at an early die state (EDS) and the obverse at an early middle die state (EMDS). Stage B shows a die chip and depression on top of the hat, marked EMDS, and a die crack running from the bust through the Q of QUARTER to the rim, marked MDS (middle die state).
