2007 Doubled Die Reverse DDR-026

Description

Wyoming's bucking bronco reverse — featuring a cowboy astride a rearing horse against a mountain backdrop — provides the canvas for this 2007-P State Quarter DDR-026, which displays medium spread on the horse's mane and under the saddle horn. The mane-and-saddle-horn zone proved susceptible to doubling across multiple Wyoming Quarter dies, and DDR-026 is one of at least two varieties sharing this location. What distinguishes DDR-026 from its companion DDR-032 is its unique attribution numbers: UVC-1742 and DMR-029, confirming these were completely different working dies whose hubbing misalignments happened to manifest in the same area. Stage A records both sides in early die state. Stages B and C remain unconfirmed.
