2007 (P) Wyoming State Quarter - Doubled Die Reverse DDR-010

Description

2007-P WY DDR-010 is a doubled die reverse on the 2007-P Wyoming state quarter, cataloged by VarietyVista. A very strong spread runs around the outer edge of the saddle horn. VarietyVista also gives it as 10-R-VIII; its chart numbers are UVC-1703 and DMR-012. On Stage A, VarietyVista records both the reverse and the obverse at an early die state (EDS). Stage B carries the markers: a die chip outside the middle of the tail, a die crack outside the horse's rump, a die break outside the spot where the back legs cross, a die crack beneath the rear leg, a die crack from the front of the bust through the O of DOLLAR to the rim, a die chip on the eyebrow, and die cracks on the nose and lips. The tail chip and the bust crack are both marked MDS (middle die state). Stage C, a late die state (LDS), is unconfirmed. Reported to VarietyVista by Al Lawrence.
