Description
The 2007 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-001 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 2007 (P) Utah State Quarter, part of the State Quarters 1999-2008 series. Die markers: Obverse: None noted. Reverse: Die pitting shows near the rim above the left end of the mountains. Die pitting shows above the front of the train engine facing to the left. “Trails” run NNE from the top of the digits in 1896 and from the tops of some of the letters in CROSSROADS OF THE WEST.
