Description
Doubling shows on the lower left side of the spike to the right of the train engine facing to the right.
Die Markers
- Obverse: None noted. Reverse: Die pitting shows near the rim above the left end of the mountains. Die pitting shows above the front of the train engine facing to the left. “Trails” run NNE from the top of the digits in 1896 and from the tops of some of the letters in CROSSROADS OF THE WEST. A heavy die scratch runs ENE from the top right T in WEST to the rim. Die Markers: Obverse:
