2006 Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-015

Description

Displaying light extra thickness on the date and LIBERTY with distinctive notches visible on the upper left of the letters ERTY, this 2006-P Lincoln Memorial Cent WDDO-015 offers collectors identifiable doubling characteristics. The notching pattern on LIBERTY provides a particularly useful diagnostic, as this type of interrupted extra thickness is often easier to detect under moderate magnification than uniform thickening. Obverse die markers include a small die gouge to the right of the bottom of the first zero in the date, while the reverse carries a small die gouge below the left side of the A in STATES.
