2006 (D) Lincoln Memorial Cent - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-005

Description

2006-D WDDR-005 is a doubled die reverse on the 2006-D Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling is on the left side of the seventh Memorial column, right of the statue and the pedestal, and the statue's two legs both show doubling on their left sides. Obverse markers, all small gouges: one under the second zero of the date toward its right side, one right of the base of the mint mark, and one well north of the 6. On the reverse, a small gouge lies in the lower part of the N in ONE. Gary L. Cox, Sr. submitted the variety. Crawford lists it as CDDR-004, and its Coppercoins number is 2006D-1DR-004.
