2005 (P) Oregon Satin Finish State Quarter - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-004

Description

2005-P SF OR WDDR-004 is a doubled die reverse on the 2005-P satin finish Oregon state quarter, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling is above the short tree's three lowest branches on its left side. Wexler notes no obverse markers. On the reverse, heavy gouges lie NW of the first E of E PLURIBUS UNUM, die pitting appears over some of the small trees along the lower shoreline, and a strong gouge sits over the R of CRATER toward its right side. Kevin Zaletel submitted the variety. CONECA lists it as 7-R-VIII.
