Description
Extra thickness shows on LIBERTY, the date, and the lower hair and beard details. Notching can be found on the lower left of the ERTY in LIBERTY. Die Markers: Obverse: A die gouge can be found SW of the I of IN. A small die gouge can be found to the right of the bottom of the I of IN. A die gouge can be found inside the 2nd zero in the date. A small die gouge touches the upper right side of the I in LIBERTY. Reverse: The reverse is a doubled die that is listed in the Wexler Doubled Die Files as 2004 1¢ WDDR-097. Doubling shows on the upper right side of the 6th Memorial column to the left of the statue’s head and upper body. A die gouge touches the right underside of the E in UNITED. A small die gouge (dot) can be found to the right of the upper T in CENT. A small die gouge (dot) can be found between the E and N of CENT. Obverse:
