Error
Description
Doubling shows as notches on the upper left ERTY of LIBERTY and some extra thickness to the date. Die Markers: Obverse: A die gouge (dot) shows above the second zero in the date. Two die gouges (dots) show south of the 2 in the date. A die gouge (dot) can be found above the back of Lincoln’s eyebrow. Reverse: A die gouge can be found to the left of the lower U in UNITED. Another die gouge shows to the right of the last Memorial column and left of the bottom right side of the second A in AMERICA. A die scratch runs NNE from the bottom right side of the seventh Memorial column.
