Description
A spread to the SW shows as notches on the upper left RTY of LIBERTY. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: A strong die gouge (dot) shows between the upper second zero and four of the date. Obverse Stage B: A die crack runs from the lower E to B of LIBERTY. Die cracks show on the left side and top of the first zero of the date. A die crack runs northwest from Lincoln’s eyebrow. Reverse Stage A: Relatively marker free. Reverse Stage B: Die cracks can be found at the top of the third and fourth Memorial columns. A die gouge (dot) can be found near the rim southeast of FG. Two small die gouges appear at the top right of the T in CENT. Obverse Stage A:
