2002 (P) Lincoln Memorial Cent - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-024

Description

2002 WDDR-024 is a doubled die reverse on the 2002 Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling shows along the left side of the lower legs of the statue. On the obverse, one gouge lies under the left side of the N in IN and another is south of the S in TRUST. On the reverse, in PLURIBUS there is a small gouge above the left side of the P, one between the L and U, and one over the first U, on its right side; a small gouge (dot) also sits right of the lower T in CENT. John A. Wexler submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
