Description

Twenty-second doubled die reverse for the 2002 Philadelphia Lincoln Memorial Cent, WDDR-022 shows doubling on the central left side of the seventh Memorial column to the right of the Lincoln statue's knees — a location where even slight hub displacement becomes visible against fine columnar detail. Obverse die markers include two small die gouges to the left of the top of the first two digits in the date. On the reverse, a strong die gouge sits between the bottom of the Memorial and the top of the O in ONE, with a small die gouge north of Frank Gasparro's designer initials FG. Cataloged under Wexler Variety ID 2002 1-cent WDDR-022.
