2002 (P) Lincoln Memorial Cent - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-021

Description

2002 WDDR-021 is a doubled die reverse on the 2002 Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling is on the lower left side of the seventh column of the Memorial, right of the statue's legs, and an extra leg appears between the statue's lower legs. On the obverse, a small gouge lies just over the second 2 of the date, on its right side. On the reverse, small gouges sit inside the lower right of the U in UNITED and inside the D of UNITED, and a small gouge (dot) is left of the base of the first Memorial column. William Slaughter submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
