Description

2002 WDDR-008 is a doubled die reverse on the 2002 Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling is on the center-left side of the seventh column of the Memorial, just right of the statue. Obverse markers: a small gouge (dot) left of the I in IN, a small gouge within the second zero of the date, and a small gouge right of the lower part of the bust. Reverse markers: a gouge touching the lower right of the N in UNITED, and a small gouge touching the upper right of the T in CENT. John A. Wexler submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
