2002 (P) Lincoln Memorial Cent - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-004

Description

2002 WDDR-004 is a doubled die reverse on the 2002 Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The sixth Memorial column is doubled along its lower right side, left of the statue's legs, and extra knees show southeast of the statue's normal knees. On the obverse, two small gouges lie beneath the O and D of GOD. In TRUST, a small gouge sits left of the lower part of the R, a gouge lies between the R and U, another between the lower parts of the U and S, and two more below and between the U and S. On the reverse, a small gouge lies between the U and N of UNITED, and another is inside the upper part of that N. John A. Wexler submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
