Description

1998-D WDDR-021 is a doubled die reverse on the 1998-D Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. On the seventh column, right of the statue, an extended bar starts at the hand and ends at the lower leg. On the obverse, a die chip lies below the R in LIBERTY. On the reverse, a chip sits east of the lower S in PLURIBUS, and another is well east of the dot following UNUM. Feeder finger damage shows in the upper part of the last Memorial bay, and a die chip touches the upper right of the last Memorial column. Steve Young submitted the variety.
