1997 (P) Roosevelt Dime - Atypical Die Clash ADC-10C-1997-01
Error
Description
ADC-10c-1997-01 is an atypical die clash on a 1997-P Roosevelt dime, cataloged by Mad Die Clashes. The dies clashed twice, which shows in the doubled marks the reverse die left on the obverse: the paired marks in Roosevelt's neck come from the torch. The obverse die carries these duplicated marks, but on the reverse the two events show in only one small section, above the first U of PLURIBUS, where the bridge of Roosevelt's nose and the surrounding field left their marks. Dick Wells owns the coin.
