Description
Documented by John A. Wexler, WDDR-002 on the 1997 Philadelphia Lincoln Memorial cent shows doubling on the lower left side of the 7th Memorial column to the right of the Lincoln statue's feet — a localized effect confined to the base of the westernmost column near the pedestal zone. Reverse die markers include a small die gouge to the left of the F in designer Frank Gasparro's FG initials — a distinctive marker positioned near the lower right of the Memorial design. No significant obverse die markers have been documented. The Wexler catalog lists no known cross-references to other attribution systems for this variety.
