Description
1996 WDDO-006 is a doubled die obverse on the 1996 Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. South of the ear there is a strong extra hair strand, or possibly a partial extra earlobe. On the obverse, a small gouge sits in the middle of the first 9 of the date, and many scratches, mostly SW/NE, cross the field right of the profile. On the reverse, three gouges lie right of the lower T in CENT. Billy G. Crawford submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
