1995 (P) Lincoln Memorial Cent - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-010

Description

1995 WDDR-010 is a doubled die reverse on the 1995 Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The eleventh Memorial bay holds an extra column, and a small partial extra column sits at the base of the tenth bay. Wexler notes no significant obverse markers. On the reverse, a small gouge sits inside the upper part of the D in UNITED, and a gouge extends NW off the top of the second T in STATES. A small gouge (dot) lies right of the upper T in CENT, and another small gouge (dot) lies left of the middle of the C in CENT. Under the N of UNUM, a short scratch runs WSW to ENE. Joe Koelling submitted the variety. Crawford lists it as CDDR-004. Wexler includes it in its "Best Of" varieties.
