1995 (P) Lincoln Memorial Cent - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-009

Description

1995 WDDR-009 is a doubled die reverse on the 1995 Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. Angled doubling of the Memorial ceiling shows at the upper right side of the sixth bay. On the obverse, a scratch extends SSW from the rim, right of the second T in TRUST. On the reverse, two short vertical scratches lie between the C and A of AMERICA, and a small gouge sits left of the T in UNITED near its base. A die crack leaves the lower left of the C in CENT and runs SSW to the rim. Another crack starts at the top of the fourth column and heads north through the A of STATES until it reaches the rim. Tony Russo submitted the variety. CONECA lists it as 3-R-VIII.
