Description

Class II, Distorted Hub Doubling A close spread toward the center shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, increasing from left to right. Die Markers: Obverse: Die crack from rim to top of Jefferson's head at 12:00; strong vertical die scratches in field to left of eye and lips; strong vertical die scratch behind head from R of LIBERTY to L of LIBERTY; strong vertical die scratches in field to right of queue. Reverse: Horizontal die scratches in field to right of dome; strong strike doubling on E PLURIBUS UNUM.
