Description
TDC-1c-1983-06 is a typical die clash on a 1983-P Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by Mad Die Clashes. It comes from a single clash event. The tilt is plain to see, but MDC notes it is the amount of tilt usually seen on cents of this era. The obverse clash marks were not abraded, while those on the reverse were heavily abraded. Die markers: scratches above ONE's O, and a crack that runs from the Memorial's upper left corner through UNITED's I. MDC gives an overlay of the die positions. Cliff Reuter submitted the coin.
