1983 (P) Lincoln Memorial Cent - Atypical Die Clash ADC-1C-1983-03
Error
Description
ADC-1c-1983-03 is an atypical die clash on a 1983-P Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by Mad Die Clashes, with two clash events some time apart. The first, the weaker, is a normal clash that put the Y of LIBERTY in bay 2 of the Memorial. The later, stronger clash is rotated 2° from the first and slightly misaligned, and it also shows the Y in bay 2. Both sets of marks left by the bays are easy to see. A die crack at the left corner of the Memorial base identifies the die. The coin belongs to Robert Jennik.
