Sixth documented cud on the 1979 Denver Mint Susan B. Anthony Dollar, CU-100c-1979D-06 preserves a major die break at the rim where a fragment of the die separated completely, creating the characteristic raised featureless blob at the coin's edge. The Susan B. Anthony Dollar, introduced in 1979 as the first small-size dollar coin, was designed by Frank Gasparro with a portrait of the women's suffrage pioneer on the obverse and an adaptation of the Apollo 11 mission insignia on the reverse.
