1975 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-001

Description

A Class II spread towards the center shows on the lower letters of ONE CENT, AMERICA, and the designer’s initials. Notches show on some of the lower letters in AMERICA. Die Markers: Obverse: None noted. Reverse: A strong vertical die gouge can be found between the E and R in AMERICA. A die gouge runs ESE from the rim above the E in STATES. Two long parallel die scratches run from the bottom of the I in UNITED to the lower left Memorial. Numerous other die scratches can be found throughout the reverse.
