Description
The 1975 (D) Lincoln Memorial Cent represents a Denver Mint issue from the Lincoln Memorial Cents 1959-2008 series. The obverse features Abraham Lincoln facing right and the reverse displays the Lincoln Memorial building in Washington, D.C. Both mints active with large mintages despite increasing copper costs. The Denver Mint, which grew from an 1860s gold rush assay office, has served as a major production facility since 1906.
