Description

Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingA spread toward the rim shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, increasing from left to right. Doubling also shows on FIVE CENTS and MONTICELLO with a uniform spread, and on the right side of the building. Very slight doubling shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM.

Die Markers

Obverse: The obverse is a doubled die listed as 1971-S Pr 5c WDDO-002. It is also an RPM listed as 1971-S Pr 5c WRPM-001 Southeast.
Reverse: Diagonal die scratch to right of long right window; two diagonal die scratches inside long right window.
