Description
This 1970-S Lincoln Memorial Cent (Large Date) doubled die obverse, WDDO-012, is cataloged by Wexler (doubleddie.com) as 1970-S 1¢ WDDO-012. The doubling appears above the horizontal bar of the L in LIBERTY. Obverse die markers: a short vertical die scratch to the left of the bottom of the Y in LIBERTY and a short die scratch connecting the lower I and N of IN. Reverse: a short horizontal die gouge just above the designer's initials. Submitted by John A. Wexler. Cross-reference: Coppercoins 1970S-1DO-011.
