Error
Description
Tripling shows above the horizontal bar of the 7 in the date. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Strong die clash marks can be found to the left of the back of the neck. A die clash mark can be found below the front of the chin. Numerous die scratches run from SW to NE to the left of the bust. Obverse Stage B: The die clash marks are weaker. The die has been abraded creating new die scratch patterns to the left of the bust. Two parallel die scratches run from SW to NE to the right of the lower N of IN. Numerous other die scratches can be found throughout the obverse. Reverse Stage A: A short, strong die gouge runs north from the upper right D in UNITED. Short, strong die scratches run north from the top right of the Memorial roof. Numerous other die scratches can be found throughout the reverse. Reverse Stage B: Two die gouges form a semi-colon between the tops of the N and I in UNITED.
