The 1969-D Doubled Die Reverse DDR-014 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1969 (D) Kennedy Half Dollar, part of the Kennedy Half Dollars Silver Clad 1965-1970 series. Die markers: UVC-223 DMR-022 Stage A: Small die gouge next to the rim West of the first S of STATES – EDS Obverse is EDS Stage B: Reverse is MDS Strong die scratch North-South between GOD and bust – MDS UVC-598 DMR-024 Stage C: Die gouge West of the first S of STATES is very weak – LDS Obverse die changed – EDS.
