Description
The 1969-D Doubled Die Reverse DDR-011 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1969 (D) Kennedy Half Dollar, part of the Kennedy Half Dollars Silver Clad 1965-1970 series. Die markers: UVC-147 DMR-005 Stage A: EDS (unconfirmed) Stage B: Die clash shows through upper DOLLAR – LMDS Strong die scratches on Reverse Strong die scratches on Obverse – LMDS Stage C: Reverse and and Obverse are LDS Stage D: Reverse and and Obverse are VLDS.
