Description
This 1968 Lincoln Memorial Cent doubled die obverse, WDDO-002, is cataloged by Wexler (doubleddie.com) as 1968 1¢ WDDO-002. It shows a clockwise spread pivoting from about the 2:00 position on LIBERTY, IN GOD and the date, with only slight doubling on the date. Obverse die marker: a long die scratch runs NNE from the top of the R in LIBERTY. Reverse: a small die gouge (dot) to the right of the I in UNITED. Submitted by Delma K. Romines.
