Description

Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingA very close Class II spread shows on OF E PLURIBUS UNUM, increasing from left to right.  Coin examined was LDS. Die Markers: Obverse: Short almost horizontal die crack on top of Jefferson's head; die dot on his forehead; die crack above designer's initials FS. Reverse: Die dot to lower right of M of UNUM; two short die gouges above center crossbar of E of E PLURIBUS UNUM.
