1966 Type I Counter Clash CCLTI-5C-1966-01

Description

CCL(TI)-5c-1966-01 The 1966(P) Jefferson nickel underwent two clash events that were slightly offset from each other. This resulted in a Type I counter clash forming. An extra roof line can be seen above the right side of Monticello. The counter clash is indicated by the black arrow. The doubled offset clash marks that produced the counter clash can be seen to the right of the bow in Jefferson’s queue.
