Description
A strong Class II spread towards the center shows on USA, the stars under USA, the stars above EPU, EPU, and the upper edge of the banner. A closer spread shows on HALF DOLLAR, the stars above HALF DOLLAR, and the four stars to the right of the eagle’s head. Die Markers: Obverse: Parallel die scratches run SW from the upper I of IN. Reverse: A short die gouge protrudes from the lower right side of the star below the left side of the A in STATES. A die gouge can be found to the right of the lower first L in DOLLAR. Obverse:
