1964 Proof Roosevelt Dime - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-014

Description

1964 WDDR-014 is a doubled die reverse on the 1964 proof Roosevelt dime, cataloged by the Wexler team. A Class V counterclockwise (CCW) spread pivoting near 1:00 appears on the upper olive branch, the left dot, E PLU, ONE DIME and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, and is strongest in the reverse's lower left quadrant. The obverse has a Blunt Tail 9; Wexler records no significant markers on either side. John A. Wexler submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references. Wexler's comments say it closely resembles WDDR-013 and that this variety does have doubling on the upper olive branches. Wexler includes it in its "Best Of" varieties.
