Description
1964 WDDR-011 is a doubled die reverse on the 1964 proof Roosevelt dime, cataloged by the Wexler team. A clockwise (CW) spread pivoting near 3:00 appears on ONE DIME, UNITED, E P of E PLURIBUS UNUM and the left dot. Obverse Stage A has several short scratches running south by west under TRUST's second T. Obverse Stage B has a short northeast scratch leaving the top of IN's N at its right leg, and a short NNW/SSE scratch in the field, centered under OF's F and AMERICA's first A. Reverse Stage A has a short SSW/NNE scratch just right of the lower left leg of AMERICA's last A. Reverse Stage B has two short NNW/SSE scratches centered below the inside of AMERICA's first A. John A. Wexler submitted the variety. CONECA lists it as 1-R-II+V.
