Description

Struck as a proof, this 1964 Jefferson Nickel WDDO-026 exhibits Class V pivoted hub doubling. This variety was formerly listed as WDDO-042, and it replaces the original WDDO-026 listing, which was delisted because the doubling was too minor to warrant a separate catalog entry. The close Class V doubling shows as a pivoted spread on the obverse design elements.
