1964 Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-005

Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingThis variety was formerly listed as WDDO-057.  It replaces the original WDDO-005 listing which was delisted because it was too minor.  Close Class II doubling shows on IN GOD WE TRUST, LIBERTY and the star. Die Markers: Obverse: Heavy die scratches on rim above GO of GOD. Reverse: Heavy die scratch on rim from UNITED to M of AMERICA; two heavy die scratches on rim above BUS of PLURIBUS; die dot above E of UNITED.
