Tracked across four die stages, the 1964 DDR-057 is a VarietyVista doubled die reverse on the Jefferson nickel exhibiting strong spread on E PLURIBUS UNUM as its primary diagnostic. Numbered UVC-1295 DMR-068, this Philadelphia Mint variety has an unusually comprehensive production record. Stage A at early die state remains unconfirmed. Stage B places both sides at mid-die-state. Stage C finds both at late-mid die state, an intermediate classification capturing the transition between active use and terminal wear.
