DDO-006 for the 1964 Philadelphia Jefferson nickel reveals light doubling on the letters RTY of LIBERTY, the star, and the date. Philadelphia struck over 1.02 billion nickels in 1964, operating without a mintmark as was traditional for the main facility. Among that enormous output, multiple doubled die obverses were documented, with DDO-006 representing one of at least six cataloged obverse hub doublings for the date. The VarietyVista classification assigns UVC-1235 and die marriage DMR-008 to this specific die pair.
