Description
A strong Class II spread towards the center shows on the lower serifs in QUARTER DOLLAR, UNITED, AMERICA, both of the branches, the lower part of both wings, the bottom of the tail feathers, and the lower leaves. The center talon on the eagle’s left leg shows nice doubling. Die Markers: Obverse: Several curved die scratches can be found on the base of the bust north of the 9 in the date. Reverse: A die scratch runs NW/SE on the center arrow feather. A die scratch runs from the last tail feather on the right to the leave. Obverse:
