Description

Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingA very nice tripled spread shows on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, FIVE CENTS, MO...LLO of MONTI-CELLO, the left side of the building and E PLURIBUS UNUM.  All spreads are toward the center and decrease from left to right to the point where RICA of AMERICA and the right side of the building show just doubling. Die Markers: Obverse: None noted. Reverse: Short, vertical die gouge inside lower half of N of UNITED; die gouge (dot) in field midway between second U of UNUM and roof.
