The 1963 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-006 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1963 Proof Jefferson Nickel, part of the Jefferson Nickels Original Design 1938-2003 series. Die markers: Obverse: Short, vertical die gouge just left of upper portion of I of LIBERTY. Reverse: Numerous micro die dots between third and fourth columns; small die dot at top of right arch. Cross-referenced as CONECA 57-R-II-C.
