The 1963 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-005 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1963 Proof Jefferson Nickel, part of the Jefferson Nickels Original Design 1938-2003 series. Die markers: Obverse: None noted. Reverse: Die scratch running NNE from just right of top of first column; die gouge (dot) near bottom of roof north of center of long right window. Cross-referenced as CONECA 68-R-II-C+VI.
